Kids Art Club Term 3 with Irene CoburnDesigned for children aged 6- 8 years and 9 - 12 years, these series of workshops will encourage children to be creative through the use of various media. The children will be encouraged to observe, using exciting visual matter. Techniques will be explored and the children should become competent in using a variety of media. Irene Coburn is a well established Mackay-based artist who works across a variety of media. She has been actively involved in the arts community for over 20 years and has held many exhibitions and workshops in this time. Irene is constantly improving on her own artistic practice by participating in workshops with visiting and local artists alike.
