BIG SQUARE EYE: Free youth multimedia art workshop

A FREE youth multimedia art workshop will be held in Mackay on Monday 18 February as part of the development of BIG SQUARE EYE, a massive multimedia artwork for the Brisbane Festival 2008.

The workshop will be facilitated by young Indigenous artist Archie Moore. A participant will be selected from the Mackay workshop to continue working with the five artists on the development of BIG SQUARE EYE. This process will include a 4-day induction in Brisbane including creative development, site visits, gallery visits and further skills development.

This is a FREE workshop open to young people aged 16 - 20 from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander descent.
