Artspace Mackay holds one of the most comprehensive collections of Artist's Books in Australia, something we are very proud of. To celebrate Artspace Mackay has held four Artists’ Book Forums. Focus on Artists’ Books I, II, III and IV have been incredibly successful conferences.

Following the success of the first three forums, Artspace Mackay will hold a series of biennial Australian Artists' Books Forums to coincide with the Libris Awards. Forums will include exhibitions and events to stimulate critical dialogue about artists' books and the book arts in Australia, providing professional development opportunities for artists working in the field and generating broader awareness of the artform within our region and internationally.
