Naming rights sponsors
The Artspace Mackay Foundation is delighted to announce the name of the two companies that have bought the naming rights of two different gallery spaces at Artspace Mackay - McAleese Transport and Cox Rayner Architects.
The McAleese Gallery
McAleese Transport is the naming rights sponsor for the main Gallery. It is a Mackay based company, specializing in transport of general freight, heavy haulage and cranes.
Keith Price, Managing Director of McAleese Transport, liked the idea of a long-term partnership and supporting the broad Mackay community. "I am aware that i will not sell more cranes being the sponsor of the Artspace Mackay Gallery, but through our financial support a large proportion of this community will benefit."
The McAleese Gallery hosts national & international exhibitions from some of the largest Galleries and Institutions in Australia, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Australian War Memorial and the Queensland Art Gallery.
Cox Rayner Gallery
Cox Rayner Architects are a Brisbane based architectural firm with a passion for the Arts and are the designers of this award winning building.
Cox Rayner Architects are the naming rights sponsors for the formerly called Orientation Gallery, which hosts the impressive Mackay Regional Council Collection, including one of Australia's most impressive Artists' Book Collection, as well as art workshops for children, adults, lecture series and other cultural events.
These generous sponsorships are long-term partnerships, which ensure the on-going financial support of additional education & public programs, lecture series, art acquisitions, special exhibitions and cultural events.
The Artspace Mackay Foundation thanks these sponsors for their generosity and commitment.
