McAleese Transport is the naming rights sponsor for the main Gallery. It is a Mackay based company, specializing in transport of general freight, heavy haulage and cranes.
Keith Price, Managing Director of McAleese Transport, liked the idea of a long-term partnership and supporting the broad Mackay community. "I am aware that I will not sell more cranes being the sponsor of the Artspace Mackay Gallery, but through our financial support a large proportion of this community will benefit."
The McAleese Gallery hosts national & international exhibitions from some of the largest Galleries and Institutions in Australia, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Australian War Memorial and the Queensland Art Gallery.The Mackay Mazda Foyer
