Frank Heron

"Volunteering at Artspace Mackay has been an exciting time for me, not having a background in art. It has opened up a whole new culture awareness. The staff at Artspace are great. A bonus is meeting new people, both local and visitors to the Mackay area."
Shelley Dent

"I enjoy working at Artspace carrying out reception duties, meeting people from all walks of life and visitors from other areas and overseas. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are an excellent team to be involved with. Got some time on your hands? You can do a lot worse than being an Artspace Volunteer."
Helen Heron

"It goes without saying that the staff and workplace conditions are excellent and it's very pleasant, and satisfying, to be part of it all. I enjoy my volunteer time immensely. Being an art-worker myself, it is great to meet exhibiting artists and to attend their floor talks."
