Ted Barraclough is an emerging artist in his 70s working in Queensland who grew up in the bush with an affinity for local birdlife.
He whittled and carved as a young boy and his continued interest in bird-watching and carving eventually melded into his present art form, creating small, whittled wooden sculptures which capture the essence of native Australian birds.
For this exhibition, Ted has focused on the birdlife of the Mackay and central Queensland region. |
