Box Assemblage with Glen Skien

This workshop combines techniques of collage & assemblage. Students will explore the relationships of surface, print & found object contained within unique box structures.

Workshop participants will use simple strawboard and fine papers to construct a box consisting of multiple sections.  With the combination of found objects & prints participants create individual box assemblage pieces.

About the tutor: Glen Skien is currently completing his masters in printmaking at the Queensland College of Art, Brisbane. His work has been shown extensively throughout Australia. Glen’s recent studio practice explores ideas relating to sediments of identity made available through the experience of inanimate objects and surface.
