Artspace talks

To complement Artspace Mackay's diverse exhibition program, the gallery offers a great variety of public programs inspired by the artwork, artists, curatorial rationale, and even the gallery or organisation that tours the exhibitions.

Artspace Talks is a program of free face-to-face & online talks delivered by artists, curators, collectors and gallery staff. Talks are an informative and enjoyable way to gain deeper understanding and appreciation of the exhibitions and work on show. They're open to gallery visitors of all ages and backgrounds and face-to-face talks within the gallery space are often, though not always, held on the first weekend of an exhibition opening. T

Online recorded Artspace Talks are available for free to view 24/7 via our youtube channel:

* Violent Salt interview with co-curators Yhonnie Scarce and Claire Watson

* Art of Collection, an interview with local collector, Ros Jones
