Exhibition experiences

Free gallery tours are available upon request for each exhibition at Artspace Mackay. Viewings of works from the Mackay Regional Council collection can also be arranged and incorporated into your tour.

Tours aim to include content that will meet your group's needs and compliment teaching and learning programs.

 

Gallery tours are available on the hour, from Tuesday to Friday between 10am and 3pm (Artspace Mackay is closed Mondays). A minimum of 15 days notice is required to secure a guide's services for tours and viewings of the artists' book collection, so plan ahead for your visit.

Public Art and Laneway experiences

Free guided tours of Mackay's Public Art and Laneway Murals are available upon request with the education team at Artspace Mackay. Walking tours of public art in the city's collection aim to include content that will meet your group’s needs and complement teaching and learning programs.

Public Art and Laneway tours are available from Wednesday to Friday between 10am and 3pm. A minimum of 15 days' notice is required to secure a guide’s services for tours, so plan ahead for your visit.
