Artspace Mackay’s Public Art exhibition program ‘Blueprint’ is an unconventional and exciting opportunity for Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac region artists who want to take their art to another level.
To apply, consider the indoor or outdoor location that best suits you – slots are currently available at Foodspace Café and 2nd Lane, Mackay City Heart (pictured). Each location requires you to create a series of five related works that explore a theme of your choice. Whether you plan to produce your works using digital or traditional art mediums, selected Blueprint exhibitions are presented as hi-res, digital reproduction prints of the original artworks.
Successful applicants receive a $1000 artist fee and provide digitised files (hi-res scans or photographs of works) for quality print reproduction.
