BMA Kidspace
Join local artists and performers for creative art activities designed for toddlers and their adults.
BMA Kidspace, our ever-popular toddlers’ program, gives children under five a chance to explore and have fun with art in a climate of co-operative learning. The program includes two free artist-run sessions and free live musical entertainment for kids. Bring your toddlers along for a fun day of art-making, singing and dancing, drop-in anytime and stay as long as you’d like.
First art session: 9:30 - 11am
Music session: 11am - 11:45am
Second art session: 11:45 - 1:30pm

Kids Art Club
Renowned local artists deliver this rich six week morning program of creative art for kids aged 8 to 12 years. Each week they'll explore and respond to the exhibitions on show at Artspace Mackay through fun-filled art making activities. They'll learn new techniques and make art using many varieties of quality creative art mediums, and depending on the exhibitions and the artist tutor, may try their hand at anything from creative sculpture and painting to textiles and making large collaborative artworks!
Cost: $190 per child (six-week program, including all materials)
