Artspace Mackay Gallery Shop Supplier Proposal
Artspace Mackay is a regional art gallery operated by Mackay Regional Council. As the gallery is publicly funded, original artwork is not accepted for sale. Please keep this in mind when applying for your products to be stocked in The Gallery Shop.
Selection Criteria
The Artspace Gallery Shop stocks a fantastic range of unique gifts and handmade jewellery sourced exclusively from Queensland artists. All supplier proposals will be assessed against criteria for quality, craftsmanship, materials used and pricing. Preference will be given to Queensland-based artists. Other factors such as existing stock mix and display space availability will also be taken into consideration.
Commission
Artspace Mackay Gallery Shop retains a commission of 30% of the recommended retail sale price (RRP) including GST. (Business name, ABN, GST is not a requirement to be considered as a supplier).
Trial Sales Period
Artspace Mackay Gallery Shop shall accept products on consignment for an initial trial sales period of three months. After this period, the products will be further reviewed with the supplier in terms of re-pricing, replacing, returning items or purchasing products outright. Artspace Mackay reserves the right to return products to the supplier after the trial period has finished if the product is not selling to expectations.
